The Boat “KEEPER”
KEEPER, Connecticut River Expeditions vessel, is a 32′ by 12′ aluminum vessel manufactured in 2022 locally at Chester Boat Works, Chester, CT.
She has a comfy cabin, a head (bathroom) and plenty of room for a Private Cruise of UP TO six people. You and your guest(s) can walk around the spacious bow. There will be chairs and small tables available.
Bring your own cooler for your food and favorite beverage.
KEEPER was designed by Capt Mark to also have a very shallow draft, a large 8′ wide landing ramp, and many other features, making her a very versatile. She can easily let people disembark on the shore, take kayaks and other items on board and even put a smaller tractor on board!

Gift Certificates
Give the perfect anytime gift! Purchase a Private Charter! Your recipient may bring a TOTAL of six family/friends for 2 hours on-the-water, starting at $390, dependent on the cruise. Additional time is $125/hour.
Sightseeing
Pick out your own cruise itinerary to see the many sights along the river. If you chose South, we will see Gillette Castle, the Chester Hadlyme Ferry, lovely homes and Essex Harbor. If you chose North, we will go past lots of open space, a few State Parks, the Pratt Whitney dock. We can also do longer cruises to the lighthouses in Old Saybrook or Harbor Park area in Middletown.
Photography
For photographers, experienced or not, there will be plenty of deck space to take photos from. Keeper is very quiet and has a shallow draft so we can get close to shore.
River Stewardship
